The Cinema Rehiyon Film Festival is a flagship project of the National Commission for Culture and Arts – National Committee on Cinema (NCCA-NCC), which goes digital in its 13th edition. This event aims to feature different films, in different genres with different directors from all over the Philippines to participate and gather in one place.

With the help of our professor, Direk Elvert Bañares, I was able to access some of the films during the festival. With earphones on and while looking on the monitor, I was able to go beyond and feel the stories of the regions. Made with effort and skill, the films will let you question yourself, your life, then eventually laugh, love and cry.

And so, with 10 short films, and 5 one minute films, allow me to share with you the films that were independently and originally made in the regions.
